A timeline that only does highlights
Drag to reorder, trim to the touch, and watch the whole reel back without leaving the page. Autosaves after every change.
You already have the clips. RecruitReel is the editor that turns them into something a college coach will actually watch.
No card to start · 10 watermarked previews a month on the free plan · No subscription
Clips in, title card on, player highlighted, exported at 1080p. This one took an evening — and it is the free-plan output, watermark removed.
RecruitReel starts where your team's film ends. Bring pre-cut plays and you will have something to send by dinner.
Export your best plays from Hudl, Veo, or whatever your programme films on. Pre-cut plays, not full games.
Drop the clips in and point out who the coach is meant to watch. Player detection handles the rest.
Drag the timeline into order, open with a title card of stats and contact details, set the pacing to music.
A 1080p MP4 that emails, uploads, and plays anywhere — no account required at the other end.
Not a general video editor with a sports preset. Every screen assumes you are making a recruiting reel.
Drag to reorder, trim to the touch, and watch the whole reel back without leaving the page. Autosaves after every change.
Player detection freezes and highlights your athlete at the start of a play, so nobody is hunting for a jersey number.
Wide sideline film turns your athlete into twelve pixels. AI zoom follows them with a virtual camera that pans and pushes in, so a play at the far touchline is legible instead of a guess.
Open on a card that tells a coach who they are watching, what position, what class year, and how to reach you.
Rendering runs on a GPU in the cloud, not your laptop. Close the tab and the finished MP4 is waiting.
Everything saves to your account as you go.
One purchase is not one reel. While your pass is open you can swap in last Friday's goal and cut a different version for a different programme, as many times as you like.
Editors and recruiting services do good work. They also charge per reel, and a recruiting cycle is not one reel.

No — and it works better if you don't. RecruitReel assumes you are bringing clipped plays. Most families export their best plays from Hudl or their team's filming setup, then assemble the reel here.
Use your team's video tool to mark and export your top plays first, then bring those clips over. Cutting plays out of a two-hour game is the one job RecruitReel deliberately leaves to the software your programme already pays for.
That is what AI zoom is for. Mark your athlete once and RecruitReel follows them with a virtual camera that pans and pushes in on the play, so a far-touchline run is legible instead of a guess. When the tracking isn't confident it holds the wide shot rather than moving the camera onto the wrong player — a confident zoom on somebody else's kid is worse than no zoom. Zoom is on every plan, including the free one, so you can watch the zoomed version before you pay for anything.
Three to five minutes, with your strongest play first. Coaches watch the opening seconds of a great many reels, so the order matters more than the length.
Yes. The free plan renders the complete reel with a watermark — ten of them a month — so you can watch the real output end to end before deciding whether it is worth $50.
One Reel is not. You pay $50 once and we never charge you again. Season Pass is a prepaid four-month term that does not auto-renew — when it runs out it simply stops, and we email you instead of billing you. Payment is handled by Stripe either way.
The reels you exported stay in your account, and the MP4s you downloaded are yours to keep and send — the 30 days only govern editing and exporting. If a coach asks for a change after that, another One Reel restarts the clock, or Season Pass covers the whole recruiting season.
